Tot Skate
Tiny Tots is a fun introductory ice program designed for children ages 2.5 and 4. Designed for our youngest skaters, this program focuses on helping children become comfortable and confident on the ice through games, activities, and guided instruction from our professional coaches. This program is targeted for skaters who can not yet balance on two feet.
To participate, all children must wear a CSA approved helmet and either figure skates or hockey skates.

CanSkate
Can Skate is a learn to skate program designed for beginners of all ages, it teaches fundamental ice skating skills through nationally tested curriculum. It acts as a primary stepping stone for sports like ice hockey, figure skating, ringette, and speed skating. This program focuses on 6 stages through Balance, Control and Agility. Lessons are taught in a fast paced group setting by our professional certified coaches and our trained volunteer Program Assistants. To participate in this program all participants must have a CSA approved skating/hockey helmet and either figure skates or hockey skates. Please reach out to us if you need equipment, new this year we have a few pieces available for rental.

Pre Junior Star Skate (Must be passed stage 3 CanSkate)
Pre Junior is designed for skaters who are progressing through stages 4, 5 and 6 of the Canskate program and are interested in learning more about figure skating. This program serves as a bridge between Canskate and STARskate, allowing skaters to continue developing their fundamental skating skills while being introduced to basic figure skating techniques and concepts. Skaters will work on completing their Canskate stages while building the confidence and skills needed for the next level of skating. All Participants must wear a CSA approved helmet until they have successfully passed stage 5.

Junior Star Skate (Must be passed stage 5 CanSkate)
Junior Star Skate is the first level of our Star Skate figure skating program. Skaters in this program focus on developing the foundational skills of figure skating through Star 1 Free Skate, Dance and Skating Skills. Skaters can compete at the Star 1 level for competitions
Lessons are delivered through combination of group instruction and independent practice time. Skaters will work on learning and refining fundamental figure skating elements, including edges, turns, jumps, spins, and performance skills. As they progress, skaters will also develop an understanding of how to warm up effectively, structure their practice sessions, and work independently on ice.

Intermediate Star Skate (Star 2)
Intermediate Star Skate is designed for skaters who have completed Star 1 and are ready to progress through Star 2 Free skate, dance and Skating skills assessments. Skaters will compete a Star 2 Solo at competitions.
Skaters will continue developing jumps, spins, edges, turns and overall skating quality while building confidence and consistency. They will also learn the Star 2 Dances, the Dutch Waltz and canasta tango, and further develop their skating skills and control on the ice.
Lessons include a combination of coach led instruction and independent practice time. Off ice dryland training is included around no additional cost and helps develop strength, balance, flexibility and coordination.

Senior Star Skate (Star 3+)
Senior Star Skate is designed for skaters working on finishing Star 3 and higher assessments. This program focuses on the continued development of Free skate, skating skills and Ice dance through a combination of coach led instruction and independent practice time.
Skaters will build on their existing skills while developing more advanced jumps, spins, edges, turns, and dance patterns.
Off ice drylands training is included at no additional cost and supports strength, balance, flexibility and overall athletic development.
